The General Mission of the Provisional Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia serves as a General Office and Agency of the Commonwealth, dealing in matters related to our Provisional and Prefigurative Organizing, Embassies and Consulates, Trading Posts, Public Education, and Recruitment. This Office is under the authority of the Confederation, and works with the Customs Office and Civil Registry Office to handle imports and immigration. On this site you will find information about The Provisional Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia. This information is presented for public educational purposes, in line with our Missionary commission. It is all to be considered tentative and subject to review and change. Our Commonwealth is an unincorporated, exclusive and private (as opposed to public), members-only association. Nothing on this site is to be confused for an offer to the general public.
The need for the General Mission in establishing the Provisional Confederation of the Prefigurartive Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia is derived from a number of sources.
The Provisional Confederation of the Prefigurative Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia exists to provisionally govern and prefiguratively organize and structure The Confederation of the Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia. The Confederation of the Autoteletic, Henocentric, and Conautarkic Ambiarchy of the Commonwealth of Apodidomia will originate as something between a micronation with a good government, a panarchy, and an anarchist confederation, perhaps being best regarded simply as a Confederation, a construction from unique but ordered parts, or more complicatedly as a henocratic conautarky, an aspiration within ambiarchism referring to a cellular effort of self-governing entities to become collectively self-sufficient. Being in aspirations an ambiarchy, it will be both a declarative de facto state (by Montevidean, micronational, and idealist standards) and de jure government (by early common law standards) and a de facto (by sociological, anarchist, and materialist standards) and de jure (by mutual guarantee) anarchy, as well as a panarchic registry.
To this end, it shall be a Confederation of self-governing entities, be they anarchist, statist, or panarchist in their orientation. It will be autoteletic because the goal is telesis, planning according to what is best for the future, as directed or selected by those affected, autotelesis meaning “self-directed future.” It will be henocentric because it will recognize the relative autonomy of its constituent parts within a greater polycentric confinity, or “overlapping jurisidictions of mutual scope,” between which agonistic and social Darwinistic relations are expected to determine worth through the results of fair contest. And it will be a conautarky because interdependent and exclusive in its economic relations. Its central body, however, will be a commonwealth, because it is to be consensual, federal, constitutional, hamarchic, democratically republican, civil, guarantist, mutualist, autarkist, and geoist. That is, it places decisions under the discernment of, and free acceptance by, the conscience; ultimate authority in voluntary, self-governing constituents remaining free to nullify and secede; structure under the principled meeting of the minds; organization under the premise of separation of powers and checks and balances; delegation under the rule of natural law, constitution, and assembly; law under the oversight of society; management under the bonds of fidelity, surety, and subjection to competition; finance under the the equality of freedom and the freedom of contract; customs into the workings of the syndicate; titles to the Earth into a common trust, and its bounty into common hands.
Its appelation shall be Apodidomia, meaning “I Return That Which is Due,” for benevolent reciprocity and just recompense-- The Law of Reciprocity-- shall be its Grand Imperative, an application of the Cosmic Theorem of Love.
The Commonwealth of Apodidomia has Three Estates arranged into Consolidations, into which every citizen of the Commonwealth is independently catalogued. These consist of:
We find that identifying the class interests of our citizens better allows us to achieve our goals of removing external distortions created by arbitrary rule for the purposes of exploitation, and thereby enabling a stable societal equilibrium in which the properties of all serve the general benefit of each. This is achieved by various means.
Renters are involved in their own struggles as Tenants (slaves to landlords), Laymen (subcontractors, slaves to licensed professionals), and Workers (employees, slaves to capital), having had their inalienable natural rights to the use of the Earth legally revoked, their rights to supply demand to the market and to create a public medium of exchange impeded. The appropriate tactics for use by members of these classes include practices such as minimalism, frugality, thrift, and mutual savings and reciprocal lending, and are informed by such ideologies and programs as the Chicago Idea, revolutionary unionism, industrial unionism, general unionism, anarcho- and revolutionary syndicalism, geo-syndicalism, platformism, and other such ideologies involving direct-action in organizing emancipatory unions for Tenants, Laymen, and Workers towards revolutionary ends such as buy-outs, occupations, and expropriations.
Owners are involved in their own pursuits as Smallholders, Freemen (contractors, businesspeople), and Master Workmen (owner-operators), having the opportunities to pursue their own individual and mutual destinies. The appropriate tactics for use by members of these classes are voluntary simplicity, estate-planning, home economics, entrepreneurship, tax-avoidance, technological innovation, energy self-sufficiency, dual power institution-building, counter-economics, and, if necessary, nullification, secession, annexation, or conquest.
Rentiers are also involved in their own pursuits as Landlords, Overmen (principle contractors, licensees), and Capitalists (those whose capital is used to control others), though these ends run generally counter to those sought after by Apodidomians. The appropriate tactics for use by members of these classes are beneficiary trusts and benefit societies and crypto-syndicalism to enable Renters to become Owners, “Chinese characteristics” that serve the Commonwealth, and joining the Owner class.
There are many opportunities for cross-fertilization between the Estates.
Importantly, there is no Renter or Rentier Class within the borders of Apodidomia. While the Commonwealth at-large admits members from all Estates, the realm of Apodidomia itself is under the strict stewardship of the Owner Class, its lands being a Tenancy in Common administered by the Office of General Land Trustage and Conveyance and belonging directly to the citizen-member-occupants of Apodidomia. To become an Apodidomian, a citizen must buy-in (tentatively looking at around $20,000 when stable, $60,000 to start, lease-to-own, per citizen) or contribute proportional landholdings to the Tenancy in Common, and must forfeit their right to independent income in all foreign currencies (which are all to be socialized) and from all independent export income outside of our trading posts, as well as previous holdings beyond a certain threshhold (tentatively, $250,000 limited to the value of a 50-acre rural Texas homestead with a single-family home, a modest business structure, and its appertanances, as well as $60,000 in cash, the expected savings of a well-paid, high-skill workman, such as a foreman). The conautarkic practice within Apodidomia means that we are going to have a fair degree of protectionist measures, including tariffs and subsidies on exports and imports of certain kinds. These will not apply between our member-organizations, but only between Apodidomia on the federal level and foreign nations. Renters of the Commonwealth may achieve financing for citizen-member-occupancy by way of mutual savings and reciprocal lending, being granted as a beneficiary in a benefit trust or benefit society (such as granted by our Rentiers), or through revolutionary expropriation that has been legally-awarded recognition (as with Co-op City, for instance). Owners and Rentiers are fully expected to pay for themselves.
Rest assured, the federal landholding model applies only to inter-organizational landholdings. This means that while the land is held federally in common, a member-society will be able to exclusively occupy and use tracts established "privately" within our borders for the member society's own societies homesteads to be administered according to whatever rules or principles one wants to within member society's own borders. This means that, if one can make it work, one can establish capitalist or semi-capitalist "sticky property" rights, communist property abolition, Georgist land taxes, or whatever one prefers, just so long as the organization at-large secures its "territory."
The benefit of establishing Apodidomia in such a manner is that it establishes an even playing field for coopetition to take place upon. Apodidomia will be a realm of coopetition, wherein collaboration occurs on various levels of its society alongside fraternal competitions and even agonistic contests. Societies will collaborate on protectionist policies and enforcement, inter-organizational borders and landholding-allocations, and other matters pertaining to the federal body of the Commonwealth, while competing in the economy, jockeying in contests for federal positions, and even peaceably annexing one another within the Commonwealth. In short, by providing the grounds for a Good Game to take place upon, Apodidomia ensures that volutionary progress occurs through market selection, intercultural selection, and intersocietal selection; and by providing a common stake between competing and even contesting parties, protectionary efforts and endeavors of scale unachievable alone can be made realizable. Apodidomia is intended to enable any reasonable attempt to form a society to be put to the economic and sociological test and to prove itself in the marketplace for societies without the distortions of previously-existing and Profane privileges granted by arbitrary authority.
We hold that only a body politic so constituted will balance the need of all popular, class conscious, and honest particularistic political interests within a single, revolutionary organization representing the interests of all of its constituents; and of simultaneously being capable of eradicating the exploitation of class society as it has been established by the distortions of arbitray rule; and so of enabling the bringing about of an active, new, free marketplace of societies to the benefit of all.
The Commonwealth is pursuing an autoteletic society, one in which all can live according to their own self-directed futures. Thus, we envision all member-organizations, whether statist or anarchist, to maintain a purely voluntary citizenry as was philosophized under anarchism, panarchism, and voluntaryism. The consequence of this is that all may join the political or non-political body of their choosing or bear the costs of founding one of their own. As such, all will be able to believe and act politically with the same freedom with which they believe and act religiously, by choosing their own government or non-government as they do their own church or club.
Within their own societies, each will be able to affiliate with their own cultural priorities, whether they be nativist, integrationist, or multicultural, and their interior economic and political arrangements can be laid according to their own ideologies. Apodidomia is intended to be a realm for a Good Game, where societies may coopete with one another on a fair, but agonistic playing field, whereupon intersocietal selection may take place within the marketplace for societies.
Autotelesis has both individualistic or negative and collectivistic or positive elements to it, in that autotelesis requires both individual and collective freedom and equality. As the anarchists properly held, it is not possible to be free and equal while one is impoverished by lacking access to natural resources and opportunities to better oneself. While individual freedom may provide deontological foundations, and properly tempers and limits consequential pursuits, the consequentialism found in the collectivistic and egalitarian elements of the Commonwealth are really the high-point of its anticipations.
Apodidomia will be established to create a world where the final consequence of its structure is that every individual of sound mind and judgement may choose to affiliate with any government or non-government of their choice, or may, at their choosing, instead establish their own body politic with free (though marginal) land upon which to govern, a dividend to spend on necessities, and access to interest-free, secured business loans for a first investment in capital.
The result is that we can anticipate that the norm and standard within our economy will be that people will be self-governing and self-managing, whether individually or in combinations, and will own their own homes and businesses, and have basic income, thereby becoming strong and independent citizens of sound minds, rather than being dependents upon others for housing, employment, and basic consumption goods. Importantly, this freedom from want and control corresponds to, rather than taking from, the freedom from harm and unjust interference.
Of course, this will not be impressed upon the member-organizations, who will be able to arrange their societies as they see fit according to their own memberships. This is merely the default offered on the federal level to unaffiliated federal citizens, not an imposition on associations, who, in consolidating their interests, may secure land and receive dividends as a block to be managed as seen fit within their claim, may have their own currencies, their own business codes, and etc.
By further consequence, this general end to political and economic exploitation, interference, and domination entails the end as well to all ideological wars and wars of conquest within Apodidomia, which will have been co-opted and shifted to the civil and economic realm of peaceful annexation. As such, wars will be reduced to economic competititions, undertaken with the weapons of civil technology and innovation, in efforts to make compensatory payments to one's competitors in order to displace them from their present locations. All will have the capacity to live within a society that reflects their own racial, ethnic, cultural, sexual, and preferential values, limited only by Nature.
In order to realize this autoteletic end, it is necessary to form a henocentric conautarky, or a personal law confederation of member-organizations who occupy territory together, socialize income and extravagent savings sourced from outside, and limit or apply duties to certain imports and exports with a customs union, the consequence of which is that opportunities within Apodidomia will be protected and incentivized, thereby growing the interior economy of Apodidomia, allowing all Apodidomians to flourish and thrive.
